Odds and ends

The baskets, those flat pieces stacked up still need grommets, I’ll pick the grommets up tomorrow. In the meantime I made a small box to hold napkins and coasters that I also made with the remnants. The sweater I had planned to sew buttons onto, I only have seven buttons, that would work, and I need eight. Isn't this how our UFO pile seems to grow? Pulled out the Kelp Scarf, The scraf is 10" wide, and I think I need to remake the kelp, even with the other enhancements I have planned, I think these kelp are just not quite right. So at the end of my weekend, my UFOs are still UFOs, but they have moved forward, even if only by baby steps.

This is my path, if you would  like to walk with me you are welcome. At this point I am trying to progress with my projects. A scarf with applique on it. The scarf is done, but the applique parts still need to be finished. I am working on those. I have a quilt that I am working on that I need to decide what I want do as far as a border. Do I want one, if I do, how big and what style. I have a ribbon shirt that I have to complete too. Today I’m finishing up a super easy project that was not even on my list to do from Pat Sloan's UFO Challenge , but it’s been in hibernation for a few years. It popped up as I was sorting and clearing other items.  I will also be sewing buttons onto this toddler sweater too. Talk to you soon

How many of us have projects that lay in wait for us to come and scooop them up, and bring them to their conclussion? and ready them for a new home? I have all kinds of projects at a midway point, knitting, weaving, sewing, quilting. I have projects and suplies to last my life time. I am really focusing on completing projects and using up supplies I have, only filling in with new purchases to finish a project. I am happy to announce that I have completed my Kaffe Fassett.
